The main idea of the week is reviewing the components of Congress: The Board Game. For our prototypes we've been using whatever materials we could procure from The GameCrafter, but while we're looking at our game content it's also worthwhile to look at the actual construction of the game. We'd love to keep the price of the game as low as possible, but we don't want it to be "cheap," so to speak.
In general we're looking at improving the quality of the pieces we already have, but there are some additions we are looking into, namely stands for some of the cards and molds for easy storage. These things will of course increase the manufacturing price, but I'm sure we'll find a way to strike a good balance where we can get high quality pieces without having to price the game higher.
That's all for now! Thanks for following along.
